Season 1, Episode 45: Who’s Driving Your Life?

In this topical content episode recorded in the rain-forests of Santa Cruz (okay, it was actually off my back deck, but the wildlife makes it sound like a rain-forest), I share with you what is a blend of conversation and coaching with a dear friend and client, the cartoonist, Justin Thompson.

Justin, the creator of the comic strip Mythtickle, has graciously agreed to let me make public some of the very personal issues that are coming up for him.

We will discuss:

  • Who’s the Captain of your boat?
  • Past life regressions
  • Depression and the Nowhere Man
  • Self-Love
  • The Stories we tell ourselves
  • … and more

“Self-love is not so vile a sin as self-neglecting.”
~ William Shakespeare  (Henry V: Act 2, Scene 3)

Season 1, Episode 44: Guided Meditation #6 with Michael Neeley

Today’s guided meditation is set in the Outback. A Subaru Outback. Listen as Michael Neeley guides you through a moving meditation at 65 MPH.

The exercise here is to:

  • Learn to relax while maintaining a heightened state of awareness
  • Practice setting the mind at peace while the world around it is in motion
  • Listen for the quiet amidst the noise

Please do not listen to this meditation while driving. Learn these practices at home and then put them into action when you are traveling.

Season 1, Episode 39: Bill Murphy – Author & Spiritual Explorer

Today’s guest is the author and spiritual explorer, Bill Murphy, a man who has always been interested in our spiritual essence, our spiritual paths, what happens after death, and why we might decide to return to this physical form.

Bill briefly studied religion in college, but also read and studied other spiritual belief systems.  He has always had a strong interest in learning about phenomena shrouded in mystery such as the Bermuda Triangle, Atlantis, Lemuria, the Pyramids, Extra Terrestrial civilizations, life force, and other subjects.

Bill spent a good number of years in the financial industry; however, throughout that time, he maintained a strong passion for the spiritual aspects of life and continued exploring energy healing, consciousness, and metaphysical subjects. He has also relied on his own observations and experiences in his ongoing quest for answers to the spiritual questions of life.

As his journey continues, Bill keeps writing about it. He is the author of the Amazon bestselling book: Driving with the Brakes On, and you can check out his blog at www.HighMesaLLC.com.

Season 1, Episode 38: Secrets & the Dangers in Keeping Them

In today’s episode, I am joined by Audrey Hazekamp of Tall Poppy, Inc. (Season 1, Episode 3) as we take on the subject of Secrets. We’re not talking about the ones you swear to keep with a friend (although that may be included), but the little ones that you hide, often without even thinking about them.

Do you squelch speaking your mind because of what someone might think of you? Do you hold back on telling the truth in order to spare someone from having their feelings hurt? Learn to recognize the damages that these little “secrets” cause and the best way to address them as they arise.

We’ll also talk about radical honesty and the microscopic truth – both so valuable in living a conscious life.

Season 1, Episode 36: Melanie Elkin – Creator and Founder of Yoga’licious

Today’s guest is Melanie Elkin. Melanie is the creator and founder of Yoga’licious where she passionately supports women in re-creating a conversation around their bodies and themselves that is sustainable, uplifting, confidence building, satisfying, and makes them want to scream on the mountain tops “I am delicious”.

Melanie doesn’t do quick fixes or cookie cutter exercise and yoga routines but instead guides women to create something that honors them, their bodies, and everything else they do in their lives! When she found yoga in her own healing journey, she knew she had found a practice that brought her back to listening to her body and supported her in a radical self-confidence that wasn’t dependent on what she ate or how many chaturangas she did.

Melanie knows how important this message of body love is, and she is committed to bringing it to as many women as she possibly can.
