Seeker Dreamer: Amazing, Brilliant, Compassionate YOU! (Author House, 2013)

Author & thought-leader, Melony McGant’s (Season 1, Episode 28) book SEEKER DREAMER: Amazing, Brilliant Compassionate YOU! is a journal workbook for growth and transformation. It will guide you in honoring your Good Dreams; show you how to walk with Courage and help you remember to Breathe as you become more truthful with yourself and take your next good steps on your life journey.

As you move forward, you will rediscover your Gifts and Purpose. Along the way, you (the Seeker Dreamer) will meet your fears and doubts as obstacles to be transformed into Trust and Confidence. No journey is easy and there are often unexpected barriers presented; but you discover that compassion, commitment to Love and forgiveness, graciousness, humility, integrity, kindness, patience, tenacity and trust become your Keys to Transformation and Tools of Grace.

I love this book, and I think you will, too.

Season 1, Episode 26: Roger Miller – Mind Body Awareness Project

Today, I have the honor of interviewing Roger Miller, the Executive Director of the Mind Body Awareness Project (aka MBA Project) whose mission is to help youth transform harmful behavior and live meaningful lives through mindfulness meditation and emotional awareness.

Founded in 2000, MBA designs, delivers, and researches mindfulness and emotional literacy programs for youth-at-risk. MBA also trains educators and youth service providers both nationally and internationally.

Roger has studied meditation for over 12 years and his daily meditation practice informs his work and leadership style. He thinks deeply about class, race and privilege and acts wherever possible to challenge the systems that reinforce that privilege. Roger also currently serves on the Leadership Sangha (Board of Directors) of the East Bay Meditation Center.

The Mind Body Awareness Project can be found at www.MBAProject.org.

Season 1, Episode 24: Letting Go of the Past

In this episode, I am joined by visionary, healer & teacher, Heather Hans (Season 1, Episode 11) for a discussion about letting go of the past and opening ourselves up to change.

We cover various aspects of our past (our “stories”) about ourselves, ranging from alcoholism to sexual abuse, and weight issues to “who I am”. How our stories first become real, then get rooted, and finally begin to dictate our lives.

We invite you to join in on the conversation by posting your comments below or on Facebook or Twitter.

You can also learn more about Heather and comment on her sites as well, at www.HeatherHans.com.

Season 1, Episode 20: Juna Mustad & Justin Milano – “Daily Relationship” Creators & Coaches

Today’s episode is double the pleasure and double the fun, as I have the honor of hosting two guests at once: Justin Milano and Juna Mustad.

Juna is an Intuitive, as well as a Life & Relationship Coach.  Her intuitive coaching sessions are skillfully woven with the Hendricks Institute’s whole body coaching techniques and somatic experiencing. Her unique gift is her ability to make personal growth not only sustainable, but deeply enriching, rewarding and fun.

Justin is an explorer of life and always open to the next discovery. Professionally, he likes to describe himself as a “yogipreneur,” or a hippy in an entrepreneur’s body. He is currently the Founder of Good Startups and Executive of Hairprint Technology. When he is not creating businesses, coaching entrepreneurs, or writing, you will find him traveling to exotic spiritual locations, meditating, hiking, and savoring time with friends and family.

Together they have created Daily Relationship. It is a project where they share their relationship on video – the highs, the lows and everything in-between.

Once a week they feature a video of themselves candidly sharing an issue or potential that came up in their relationship, what relationship tool they used, and how they ultimately generated greater connection. Their desire is that these videos support other couples in easily applying these tools to their everyday relationship interactions.

Follow their adventure at www.DailyRelationship.com or at www.Facebook.com/DailyRelationship.

Season 1, Episode 19: Greg Richardson – Strategic Monk & Coach

Have you ever met a Strategic Monk? In today’s episode, Greg Richardson joins me to talk about his strategic approach to spirituality. Greg is a Spiritual Leadership Coach that helps people learn and strengthen a specific set of skills and abilities to develop a particular part of their lives.

Much of what Greg does as a leadership coach begins with guiding people as they bring their core values, principles, and inner strengths to bear on matters of work and leadership. He knows that leadership begins with knowing and sharing your truest self. He has been a leader in a wide variety of situations and organizations. As a criminal prosecutor and a university professor, an executive and a volunteer, he has helped bring out the best in the people around him.

Early on, Greg decided to give himself an incentive. If he met one of his main goals, he would get his first tattoo. It took him some time to decide what he would get. He considered some options, then chose his favorite story of the Desert Mothers and Fathers. These people who left the comforts of cities to live in the wilderness, planted the seeds of Western monasticism.

You can learn more about Greg and what he has to offer at www.StrategicMonk.com, and if you are interested, Greg would be very happy to show you his tattoo.
